Wizz Air is to release four new routes from Edinburgh Airport – to Warsaw and Gdansk in Poland, Budapest in Hungary and Bucharest in Romania.
The low-cost operator already flies from Glasgow to Katowice in Poland and Budapest, and from Aberdeen to Gdansk.
The routes provide Scots the risk to explore lovely Eastern European towns less heralded as minibreak destinations.
Its new Edinburgh to Budapest provider will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays; Warsaw on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays; Gdansk on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays; and Bucharest on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
All routes will be served with the aid of a fleet of Airbus A320 and A321.
